Before she was appointed to the senate in December 2019, Kelly worked as a chief exucutive officer ( CEO ) of Bkkt, a subsidiary of commodity and financial service provider Intercontinental Exchange owned by her husband, Jeffrey Sprecher.
She ran for 2020 Georgia U.S. Senate special election but lost a close race to Warnock after she finished second.
