Collins Bell AKA  “The King of the Kippax” was an English footballer popularly known for his period at Manchester City. He played as a midfielder and is popularly reffered as one of Manchester City’s finest-ever players.

Collin Bell Career

Bell was a footballer playing for Mancheter CIty whre he was uniquely talented in football that `The Colin Bell Stand was named after him. He has been idolised as a the ‘King of Kippax’ . He played as a midfielder and was recognised among the finest most talented Manchester City`s players.
Bell began his football career and easily rose to be club captain at Bury.

Collin Bell Legacy

Bell was nduvted into Manchester City Hall of Fam and Englissh Football Hall of Fame. Bell played in season from 196 to 1970 for Machester City ad scored eleven league goals though City finished tenth in the league. City won League Cup and European Cup Winner`s with Bell.

Collin Bell Injury and retirement

Bell got injured at an age of 29 on his right knee, in 1975. Bell left Manchester City in 1979 and was replace by Malcom Alison as manager. He later tried reviving his football career together with a former player for George Best but he played 5 games only. He was awarded an MBE for community service in 2004.

Collin Bell Illness and Death

Talking about his health, Bell suffered from bowel cancer and was later operated three weeks after the diagnosis. He was announced dead on January 5th 2021 at the age of 74.
